The event, “helping to feed the hungry of Marin,” benefits the St. Vincent de Paul Free Dining Room and features special guest baseball Hall of Famer Vida Blue.
Each year the St. Vincent de Paul Free Dining Room serves more than 250,000 meals, providing the only sustenance of the day for many of their diners which includes children, senior citizens, people with disabilities and the homeless.
Not a golfer? No problem! You don’t have to play golf to participate in this worthy event. Harbor Point Charitable Foundation encourages you to come enjoy the evening fundraising Banquet where there will be “lots of great raffle prizes and auction items too.”
Currently St. Vincent de Paul is the only Free Dining Room in Marin. They have provided hot meals every single day since 1981. They do this without government support or church funds thanks to generous donors like you who value and support the work they do.
